A statement of set beliefs define
the heart of Evangelical Christianity


Could it be that, in relying on statements defined long ago,
we fail to see where we should be going today?
In looking back at our departure point
are we ignoring our true destination?

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God;

We believe that there is one God in three persons;

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ,


We believe that all men face the judgement of God,

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit,

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost;

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ

We believe in the ministry of evangelism

We believe human sexuality should only lie within marriage,

We believe that we must pray, serve and evangelise.

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its end

Such certainty conflicts with reality
and the way that we behave;
that we truly believe.
