We believe that all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God,
that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that
for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin
and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven,
and that He will banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in hell.

COMMENT
Negative Calvinism pours cold water on God's joy in creation.
As lost creatures, depraved, degenerate, we are bound for hell or
said to face a stay in purgatory, mediated by expensive prayers.
These are the provisions of medieval religion
formed to promote the empire of the church,
the power of priest and papacy.

Entry to heaven became, is still, a potent weapon
in the hands of those who would control religious power.
Yet maybe, as Jesus pointed out heaven lies all around us;
just as hell can be where we are.

God's purpose is to realise heaven here.
Salvation is not for an individual, but for Creation.
Judgement is not a post-death experience, but
met in the ordinary lives that we lead.

We can therefore see that salvation comes
from following the teaching of Jesus
rather than from belief about him.

Salvation lies in the protection of Creation not of any individual.
We have been led astray by a self-centred doctrine
whilst The Way of Jesus offers a path that
creation can take to be saved from our actions.
