The dying often have little time to spare
(in the mix of medical and other engagements)
and maybe little energy to cope with the unexpected.

The dying are living in a complex and scary new world of medical intervention
and trying to navigate in something strange and frightening
that they do not understand and is outside their control.

Do not be flippant about the situation, or minimise it.
Dying is real!

Miracle cures are miraculous, but are not normal.
Alternative medecines that work become - just medicines.

Offer help, but make it specific and immediate.
Show the dying that you value them,
rather than just saying so.
