If there is no more to existence than earthly life,
must we revert, as so many do, to survival tactics;
to dog eat dog, to deceit and unmodified self-interest,
or can the path defined by Jesus lead us to a fuller life?
Can a materialistic perception of our world-view
be mollified by religious teachings,
into a life of love and service
without the incubus of
religious doctrine?
The facts of everlasting life are unclear and unproven,
but the evidence for a better life on earth
following the path defined by Jesus<
are clear and uncontestable.
Yet,sadly, often hidden
by the church.
