The Bible provides a simplistic explanation of creation,
disproved by modern science and through archaelology.
Science found that man was not created at one moment,
but evolved to human form from non-human over millenia.
Science today shows that man is, even now, evolving.
All religions speak of a Creator God
but if a God was truly creator,
it did not happen in the way
that the bible tells us.
The two biblical accounts are metaphores,
telling of how creation interfaces to humanity.
These are true, but not, as some imagine, literally so.
They are pictures, cartoons, of reality, of truth,
which portray why things are, not how it happened.
A true description, but not of what it describes.
Heaven was the presumed realm of God
and separated from the earthly realm;
but if there is another such realm,
it has no impact on us here,
nor can we prove its reality.
Could heaven be an invention
of human desire for immortality?
Could God then be a invention
of human desire for security
and paternal authority?
