John's Gospel portrays a different message from the Synoptics.
Instead of seeing the death of Jessu as the source of salvation for our sins,
it becomes an exposure of the true freedom that follows
when we give our lives away for a cause.

John shows us that we are all inherently divine,
but are blind to the loving divinity within us.
the form of love that can give ourselves for others,
even unto death.
