We are assured in John's Gospel (Jn 4:24)
that God is Spirit, has no form or structure.
Yet the Trinitarian conceptions of the church
define a God formed in three parts.

Is this meant merely to confuse,
providing a complex answer to divert the laity
by making a mystery of the simplicity of divinity
so as to maintain a hold over evasive humanity?
