THE CREEDAL COMMA,

A comma separates the birth of Jesus
from his violent and untimely end.
This single comma covers the whole of his life;
his teaching and example, miracles and parables;
all that describes the Way to which he calls us.
BUT
None of that is of any real interest or concern
to those who framed the doctrine about him;
who were, who are, more concerned
about orthodoxy of belief
than Christian behaviour.

Those who are more concerned about heaven's entry criteria
than about the coming of God's Kingdom on earth.
The Kingdom was the main concern of Jesus,
but is covered by a mere comma,
when we are asked to stand
to proclaim our faith.
