Attacks on Jesus

In many cases, Jesus is trapped into defending himself.
A situation is created in which he has to defend
the actions that he is forced to take,
or words he is constrained to say,
which seem to contravene
acceptable behaviour.

Acceptable behaviour
in terms of Judaism;
of The Law.

He is castigated, or perhaps challenged,
for doing things on the Day of Rest.
Why heal, comfort, even walk,
on that holy day?
See Exodus 20:11

He is castigated, challenged, shunned
for speaking with the unclean;
even touching lepers.
Leviticus 13:45

He speaks with and heals outsiders,
Samaritans, Greeks, even Romans.
Leviticus 20:26
