Many would define "Spirituality" as related to another aspect of being.
Perhaps it is a relationship to, or immersion in, a non-material world,
which we can experience but never understand nor truly explain.
Perhaps it is seeing a spiritual aspect of every situation,
even seeing the hand of God in all we do and say.

However "Spirituality" has also been described
in more practical terms through adherence to ten attributes.
We may ask ourselves whether these ideas conflict with each other,
or are they different expressions of the same conception?

Self-awareness.
A grasp of our personal values and motives.
Constancy.
Following our convictions, even when they conflict with others
Sponaneity.
Honest and dynamic response to the meaning of events.
Empathy.
Identifying with others in sharing their feelings.
Humility.
An awareness of our own place in the wider scheme of things.
Curiosity.
The motivation to ask "Why?".
Flexibility.
The ability to see, and adjust to, the bigger picture.
Resilience.
Remaining positive in the face of adversity.
Groundedness.
A sense of bearing and purpose
Receptivity.
Staying open to diversity and difference.

Is this practical view really a form of moral integrity
or is it truly an explanation of human Spirituality?
